Sleeping Bear Dunes

The other week we got to take off to Traverse City. Since I am from there I love to go back and visit my old house, school and such. Since we were up that way, we took off one day and went to Sleeping Bear Dunes. It runs along the shore of Lake Michigan. We went to the dune climb part and let me tell you, I am OUT OF SHAPE!!!!

This is on top of the dunes. You can see Glen Lake on this side of the dunes.

You can walk for about a mile and get to the beach at Lake Michigan.

We didn't follow the trail and we walked MUCH more than the mile!
